Things To Put In A Thanksgiving Card

CVX: WORLD SOCIAL FORUM ON MIGRATION AND preform National Assembly IGNATIAN

Dear brothers and sisters World Community, Latin American and National
well as our brothers and sisters of Ignatian spirituality:

CLC, particularly through the Latin American Group
Reflection on Migration was invited to participate in the Pre-Forum
Ignatian organized by the Society of Jesus to promote reflection from the socio-economic, political
and Pastoral Theology, on migration and refugee issues, and to discern some actions
specific both to the inside of the Universal Company
as among many of his colleagues and the like.
our participation in the pre-forum was cevequianos of Bolivia, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico and El Salvador
, and dear brothers, as in Venezuela that have been linked
to CLC.

This was an initiative particularly timely, since the pre-forum
we provided, at a time, a wide space for growth and excellent preparation and Ignatian Family
to participate immediately in the IV World Social Forum
Migration held in Quito on 8, 9 and 10
present.

We intend to reach them, as soon as possible, a comprehensive report on these shares
and still be able to share with the whole apostolic body
CVX some thoughts about what we
lived and some of the materials, conclusions, and so on.

For now, our motion is to share that coexistence
spontaneous and meetings we have during the pre-forum, we did experience
again thanks for the common vocation that we immediately
sister -even without previous knowledge, "the blessing of having lived
wealth of the world community and the possibility of having shared
- as comrades Jesus -
our Jesuit brothers and some of colleagues our dreams, possibilities and shortcomings
in our quest for the Kingdom, in particular and especially
on this topic at hand and we both care about and
be apparent priority need at present, and which, as CLC, we are committed to recognizing and
global apostolic urgent priority.

With great joy I commented that to and during the subsequent event:
"Social Forum" chose to give a visible witness of apostolic
actively participating in some of the preparatory committees
(methodological technique and from Sigvol-Ecuador, in volunteering for the entire
forum), and organizing and coordinating as CLC, one of the panels who led the
title "Faces migrants:
voices that construct narratives
" which was a very appreciated by
who attended him. Attendance at our panel was not only sufficient but
nourished, and for others might say that even large.
Faithful to that which has to be our approach, instead of filing an academic discourse
or provide an area contestant, the CLC was a place
and finding life in which four cevequiano cevequianas and narratives presented
lives of others and many other migrants, bearing witness to his own encounter and relationship
with them, which helped everyone to go
into the depths of the heart and from there own stories reflect and relive that
number could share as well. concluded the session with a time of reverent silence
, and many received opinions then in the halls or
other meetings were all in positive sense and with reference to motions to renew felt
options and commitment to the status of
who are forced to migrate or are displaced even within their own countries ...
This was among us one who almost had to emigrate newborn
to Egypt because his life was in danger!

participated in the space following
Cevequianos sharing their professional experience and Apostolic Life: Ana Lucia Torres (Ecuador-
CLC Women mothers and wives who stay in an indigenous community in Michoacán, Mexico
) Maria Luisa Urrelo (CVX Bolivia-transformations in the imagery of youth
Alto, Bolivia who yearn to migrate to Argentina,
well as the reality of their mothers who must migrate to support their families
), Lina Moreno (CVX Colombia - The painful process of forced displacement in Colombia
, its effects on the lives of men and women without
must flee for their lives and are in total uncertainty), Adelaide
Lacasta (CVX Spain-The experience of migrant children
Morocco to Spain. The family breakups, difficult and dangerous process of migration, and the meeting
with a reception area and return to the target site), and Mauricio López
(CVX, EXCO member, presenting the experience of
Mexican immigrants without documents, a long history in the U.S., who despite having given
his life in that country continue to feel excluded,
exploited and persecuted unknown, but have their hope in their
new generations who do not understand US-Mexico border.)

The experience that we will continue to evaluate and deepen, we
confirms the importance of us present and active in these
spaces to which the CLC has been sent to offer, with
from its modest humility smallness and at the same time parresía and hope, a contribution
and indispensable witness to respond with great courage and generosity to
call received.

Who as part of the reflection group
we find these days, we had also some working sessions: review
our goal and our agenda and we ask Ana Lucia Torres take
coordination service itself, which generously agreed. Among
therefore invite you to visit both the forum pages, and the pre-forum, where
find extensive information and the CLC in Latin America. Deputy
this will run the final document of the pre-forum, which we recommend reading
.

We would also leave evidence of our gratitude to God, the ExCo of Community
world and of all those who made our participation in these events
, mentioning a very special way to the CLC
in Ecuador both for their hospitality and openness as its
multiple services, for making us feel the brotherhood of
National Council meeting and the Sunday Eucharist, and his presence and company
which has so enriched our panel. And thank you very
especially Mary Magdalene Palencia of CLC Mexico that very
wisdom in this statement it captured the experiences of Pre
Ignatian Forum and World Social Forum on Migrations.
